Acrylic and varnish on canvas, 91 x 91 cm, Signed on the back

An American artist of English descent, a graduate of Fine Arts, Graphic Arts and Design at the University of Wisconsin Fine Arts, she develops her personal exploration in the field of abstract art.
The artist seeks emotional pathos and variable abstract expression in painting. Experimenting with new techniques and combining different media, she has chosen to use acrylic paints, achieving surprising results each time. The constant color exploration of this technique led the artist to try different types of acrylic paints, obtaining many shades, tones and adjusting the density of consistency to paint her own emotional elaboration of the outside world, personally interpreted in its essence. The immediate feature that makes his style recognizable is the movement that is immediately apparent in his abstract compositions. The movement of color accompanies all of his work as a result of "action painting" created by gesture.
Over time, the subject matter of the works becomes more and more detached from the outside world, replacing it with the artist's minimalist inner explorations.
In her artistic development, Stephanie has moved from a reference to nature and a study devoted to the four elements to essentialism, where she seeks a line of emotion - different each time. Her works are striking for the elegance and essentiality of the sign. The color scheme of the compositions stretches, moving from a two-dimensional world to a three-dimensional one, and she doesn't seem to stop there, searching like Escher for a fourth dimension. Space enclosed by ever faster curves merges with time.
The artist's latest works vibrate with the spontaneity of lines and movement where the infinite depth of color outlined with increasing speed becomes a chromatic vortex that seems to pierce the canvas. All this alludes to Einstein's theory of relativity, as Holznecht's personal research challenges the two-dimensionality of the canvas, he manages to create a mysterious color space-time, revealing the essence of the artist's world and emotions.
