Kajetan Dłużniewski, born in 1976 in Warsaw.
Studied at the Faculty of Ethnology and Anthropology, University of Warsaw. Graduated from the Department of Cultural Studies of Central and Eastern Europe in 2006.
Since 2007 he began to actively help his father in doing artistic work. Gradually, this assistance involved collaboration and co-authorship. At the same time he was engaged in his own artistic work.
In most of Kajetan's works, one can see a strong relationship between the author and his father Andrew, which, however, in their case is more than that, it is a repetition of the eternal pupil-master relationship.
For many years they were connected by everyday life, ordinary family matters, but also artistic cooperation, sometimes very intense.
His father, Andrzej Dłużniewski, lost his eyesight in a car accident in 1997, and this fact created a unique bond between two people, one of whom was a well-known artist and experienced educator, the other was just building his world. Many of Andrew's works would not have been created had it not been for Kajetan's labor-intensive help; he, in turn, benefited from his father's knowledge, his thoughts on the essence of creativity. Their discussions, walks, and a joint stay on an art scholarship at the Academie Schloss Solitude near Stuttgart in 2007 opened the world of art to Kajetan.
